Back at the Bat Cave.

Been working on my website alot lately. I have owned a domain name for about three years, and have only started to work on it this year. I know, I am lame. One of the main reasons why I got it, was for the email addresses.

Let's see, what else had been going on... oh, my car is done, I get to pick it up either tomorrow, or Tuesday. I'm hoping Tuesday, as that's my day off.

Picked up I, Robot today, for $12.99 :) I like alot of Will Smith's movies, especially Enemy of the State, one of my all time favorites.

Still no word.

Didn't expect any, and when I got home, there was none. I am glad she isn't trying to contact me, 'cause I feel so betrayed by her. She betrayed in at least four different ways:

1) She was willing to send a nude picture of herself to another guy.

2) She wanted me to send it for her.

3) She didn't care what I thought about the whole thing.

4) She has made no effort at all, to rectify things, or even get ahold of me.

Granted, even if she left me a message, I don't think I could forgive her. We (meaning her and I) had a discussion about a related subject one time. She stated, she would never be able to forgive me, if I cheated on her. She said also, that if she ever cheated on me, she thinks that I would forgive her. I remember thinking to myself, that I probably would forgive her, but I wasn't for certain. Based on this, I guess I wouldn't forgive her.

A phone call.

Was on the phone with a friend. She used to be a real good friend, we used to be to be real close, and then, we drifted apart.

Kind of wish it went better, but I am partially to blame, if not mostly to blame. I had to drink tonight. Ah well, I feel like I needed it. Though not to drown out my misery, I honestly don't know why... or I am to tired to think straight, and just want to get this post over with. Will post more soon on this as well.

Attention whores.

I have two cats, and they are attention whores. Got one on my lap now, who has been trying to get on my lap for a while now, persistent little thing he is. Finally gave up , and decided to let him on my lap.
I think the two cats switch back and forth being the attention whores. During the summer and fall, L was the attention whore, and now it is H.
Ahhhh, H just jumped off, guess he knew I was talking about him ;)
I still love them. And if there affection for me is to sleep with me at night, then I am well loved, though they don't like to move when I do... they need to work on that.

Barrage.

Great band, made up primarily of violinists. Happened to see them on public TV a few years back, and I was so impressed with them, I went out the next day to get there DVD. Would have bought it from PBTV, but they were wanting a small fortune for it. Anyways, I don't know what made me post about them, just popped in my head. You can find there website here.
What was I doing watching PBTV? I was on a business trip, and bored out of my mind, so I turned on the TV, and that was the best thing on (it was a concert).

Yahoo! News - Clinton, Bush Close to Tears in Tsunami Aid Tour

Another touching story. As Bush Sr said, this transcends politics. Even though this happened almost two months ago, they still need help, so if you can help, please do so. You can find some organizations here.

Here is a website that details some of the tsunami's effects.

The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human.

Watched this movie a couple days ago, and I must admit it was better then I expected. Kinda cheesey, but still pretty decent. So if you ever get bored one day, and want to watch a cheesy movie, this one may be for you.

Also finished watching Legend of Earthsea, which started off real slow, and cheesy, and finished off decently. Was almost tempted to turn it off at one point (where the soldiers fell off the cliff), it was that bad, but decided to stick it out a little bit longer. I have read the book, but that was so long ago, I don't even remember how the book went, so I don't know how close it follwed the book. Just if you decide to watch it, just get past the cliff part.

1056. Benjamin Franklin (1706-90). Respectfully Quoted: A Dictionary of Quotations. 1989: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Nice little quote I found, totally agree with it.

Gmail invites.

I have Gmail invites, if you want one, send me an email. Check my profile to get it. If you don't know what they are, go here.

Test was successfully completed.

Burned my first DVD, and it was a success! One small glitch, just need to keep aware of it, which is my dialup accelerator. It wants to connect to the internet whenever I reboot. I had started my PC, and started the software up to , and I look at it after about half an hour, and no progress. Dawns on me what it probably is, do the three finger salute, and it is "not responding". Killed it, and we have progress.
So yea, I am happy!

Yea babey!

Got my DVD+RW installed, and hardly any problems. Gotta love it when it goes without a hitch. Only had a slight one, the jumper from my CD-RW came loose, didn't see it til I booted up my PC, but easily fixed. Just need to test it out later.

I'm in a happy mood now :)

How arrogant.

Car is now in the shop.

Woke up, and took it in, raised a couple of other concerns, the idiot light for the oil comes on while I am driving real slow (~2 MPH) or at a complete stop but in gear, and smoke of some sort coming from my hood.

Called up Pepsi yesterday (I posted this yesterday....) and they said to give it another two weeks. While she was telling me that, I was thinking to myself, will you all even be open then.

Also called up some human resource place, I have been in a retirement plan, and I had totally forgotten about it. Changed some stuff around, but I need to research it some, so I can learn more about funds, stocks, and stuff like that. I am very ignorant about it.

Oh how lame.

How frigging lame. I make a post, and then I lose it, because I am not signed in when I try to publish it.

Judge's Career Ended by Allegations of Masturbation in Court

Now, if you were in his court, and convicted of a crime, wouldn't you want it to be looked at again? I would say so, unless it is for something petty. And the court reporter should have said something, even if it was as an anonymous.

Slow day.

Seems like Sundays are slow days, but that's to be expected. Did check to see if they received my order at Pepsi, but alas, no. Guess I need to call them. *sighs*
Will be trying to get a free 1G USB drive tomorrow, at one of the worst stores for customer service, CompUSA. Wish me luck! Just tried looking for it on there website, and I couldn't find it, and I can't be bothered to get the ad at the moment.

Mom’s Apple Crisp

by Glade, is the best smelling thing I ever smelled. Ever. Period. I could almost eat that; seriously. I could almost take a spoon, and just dig in. You need to do yourself a favor and get one. I got mine from Wal-mart, was $2.84 (I think), but I had a dollar off coupon., which was the only reason why I was looking for a 2 in 1 candle, as they are a tad bit expensive, and they weren't with the other candles at Wally world.
I like to burn candles, and smell them, or smell other nice stuff. What can I say, but I do. :)

Super Bowl Sunday

Was at work today, and my side was killing me. Thought it was my appendix at first, then the older lady I work with, said the appendix is down lower then where I was holding myself. Finally started to go away after lunch. Not sure what caused it, though I have my suspicions (drinking to much soda, or maybe even being hungry)

Kinda wish I had watched the Super Bowl, just to see the commercials. Been a while since I watched a Super Bowl, couldn't even tell you when I did. Ah well, maybe I will find the better ones on the 'net. Wish I had broadband, but I am stuck in BFE, so I have to make due with slow dialup. Very slow dialup, 26.4 to be exact. Ah well.

Looks to be a slow news day, I guess everyone was home watching the Super Bowl, so I'll cut this off here.

People like this need to be shot. If you are going to commit a crime or do something against someone else, at least do it against an adult., and not a kid, or animal.

Closest Flyby of Large Asteroid to be Naked-Eye Visible

Closest Flyby of Large Asteroid to be Naked-Eye Visible

That's kinda cool, hope I am still alive then to see it.

I got a virus.

Source: VB.class
Description: The compressed file VB.class within C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar\archive.jar-25e0f5b-403a9c7d.zip is infected with the Trojan.ByteVerify virus.
Click for more information about this (the link is mine)

Norton's caught it, thank goodness. I let NAV run automatically every Friday, and when I got home, there it was. No idea where it came from, I am going to guess from a webpage, as it is java. Any other type of a virus, and I would have been really surprised, but this one doesn't. During the time I was playing, I didn't care at all if I did, which if you know me in the slightest, would be a great shock, but I was just so immersed in that game, I honestly didn't care. Now, I do, hence why I run an AV all the time, as well as a firewall. Speaking of which, I need to renew my subscription with them, expires in 48 days (just added it to Outlook). I owuld renew now, but it would start the subscription now, instead of tacking it on when my subscription ends in 48 days, pretty lame if you ask me.
If you don't have an AV, here is one for free: AntiVir Personal Edition

We are alone.

That's the impression I get with the Bush administration. We want to do things our way, and if it can't be done our way, we don't need you. Look at Iran, and Kyoto, and G7 about Africa. We used to be the leader in the Free World, now it seems we just want to piss off as many people as we can.

Yes, I don't like Bush, nor the way he runs the country. Is it un-patriotic for me to say that? Cheney would say yes, but who cares what he thinks about me. I could go on and on, but I only have so much time before I have to go to work, and I don't want to get myself all worked up and upset, so I won't.

Pretty depressed.

Got my car running this morning, had my mechanic listen to it yesterday over the phone, and he recommended getting new spark plugs, so I did. Put them in today, and it started, which I was pretty stoked about, and drove it to my mechanic. He said take it home, it should be good to go. Well, when I started it, he wasn't thrilled to hear what he heard. He said it may be the head gasket trying to blow. *sighs* I so don't need this, just really depressed now.

Publication 17 (2004), Your Federal Income Tax

Haloscan commenting and trackback have been added to this blog.

"This happens all the time,"

Was reading something today, you can read it here. Armstrong Williams is the guy that took that money to promote the No Child Left Behind education bill by the Bush administration. He said that to David Corn. Here is the paragraph:

And then Williams violated a PR rule: he got off-point. "This happens all the time," he told me. "There are others." Really? I said. Other conservative commentators accept money from the Bush administration? I asked Williams for names. "I'm not going to defend myself that way," he said. The issue right now, he explained, was his own mistake. Well, I said, what if I call you up in a few weeks, after this blows over, and then ask you? No, he said.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it ;)
