Yahoo exec: Labels should sell music without DRM

I so agree with this.

If I buy the CD, I should be able to transfer it to my MP3 player, leave a CD in my car, have a backup, etc. But no, the recording industry thinks we shouldn't be able to do that. They think we should spend money for the song(s) for the MP3 player, then some more money for the CD we want to keep at home, and if you lose or scratch the original CD, well, just go buy a new one. Greedy bastards.

Would also solve the problem about all these different DRM's, like Microsoft's and Apple's, and the problems about incompatibility between all the MP3 players and different formats of music.

Just promotes pirating of music if you ask me.
